Ha desarrollado publicaciones sobre los temas: Representación y percepción en el diseño, mediaciones tecnológicas en la construcción del conocimiento, diseño y complejidad, vida, territorio y ciudad, diseño y escenarios sociales. Docente investigador, líder del Grupo de investigación: Diseño, Pensamiento, Creación y coordinador del Semillero de Investigación Pensamiento en Diseño. Ha desarrollado Proyectos de investigación como: Diseño y Complejidad. Sistemas de visualización dinámica para el diseño industrial, Diseño de experiencias turísticas en el Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina (Reserva Biósfera Seaflower). En este momento adelanta la investigación: Diseño, estudios y escenarios sociales Fase I, y es asesor en el eje social de la investigación Restauración de Arrecifes Fase II.

Research teacher, leader of the Research Group: Design, Thinking, Creation and coordinator of the Design Thinking Research Seedbed. He has developed research projects such as: Design and Complexity. Dynamic visualization systems for industrial design, Design of tourist experiences in the San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina Archipelago (Seaflower Biosphere Reserve). At this time he is carrying out research: Design, studies and social scenarios Phase I, and is an advisor on the social axis of the Reef Restoration Phase II research.
