Máster en Estadística Aplicada por la Universidad de Alcalá, estudios realizados como becario de la Fundación Carolina bajo convenio de la Universidad de Alcalá y el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) de España. Máster en Modelado y Simulación por la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Licenciado en Matemáticas con especialización en la enseñanza de las matemáticas de la Universidad Javeriana y estadística de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Ha sido ponente en diversas ocasiones en el Simposio Nacional de Estadística y en el Congreso Latinoamericano de Educación Superior. Se ha desempeñado como asesor estadístico de las Secretarías de Finanzas y Planificación de la ciudad de Bogotá. Es autor de varios artículos de investigación, coautor de libros resultantes de investigaciones y libros de texto de Estadística Aplicada. Actualmente es profesor e investigador de tiempo completo en el Departamento de Ciencias Básicas y Modelado de la Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano.

Master's Degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Alcalá, studies carried out as a grant holder of the Carolina Foundation under an agreement of the University of Alcalá and the National Statistics Institute (INE) of Spain. Master in Modeling and Simulation at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. Bachelor of Mathematics with specializations in the teaching of mathematics from the Universidad Javeriana and statistics from the National University of Colombia. He has been a speaker at various times in the National Symposium of Statistics and the Latin American Conference on Higher Education. He has served as a statistical advisor to the Finance and Planning Secretariats of the city of Bogotá. He is the author of several research articles, coauthor of books resulting from research and textbooks of Applied Statistics. He is currently a full-time professor and researcher at the Department of Basic Sciences and Modeling at the University of Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
