Doctorate in Marine Sciences

The program originates based on the need of the country to have the highest level of professionals that develop appropriately researches in the Colombian coastal and maritime territory from an interdisciplinar and transdisciplinary approach. According to Artículo 7 de la Ley 30 de 1992 (Section 7 of the Colombian Law 30 of the year 1992), this doctorate studies corresponds to the field of Science since it aims to generate and apply comprehensive knowledge geared to prepare the human resources in order to be able to achieve scientific work of high academic quality in the areas related to Marine Sciences.
